Rootmade grows from the daily work of running Home Design Shops — and from the gaps we kept finding in the apps around us. When no existing tool handled the product details and catalogue edge cases properly, we built the solution ourselves.

Home Design Shops works with products such as wallpaper, paint, door mats and curtain rails. Their dimensions, combinations, choices and returns do not always fit a standard workflow.
We tried the obvious tools, found where they stopped short and built the missing workflow ourselves — fewer workarounds, clearer handoffs and more control over the details that matter.
When the solution holds up in our own stores, we shape it into a focused Shopify app for other merchants facing the same problem.
