Provider and service

Rootmade Reviews helps merchants collect, manage, import and display product and store reviews. The service requires a Shopify store and supports Online Store 2.0 theme app blocks. Features and allowances depend on the selected plan.

Your store and content

You must be authorised to connect the store and use any data, review content and media you submit. Keep credentials secure. You are responsible for customer notices, the lawful use of contact information, accurate review provenance and the content you publish.

Do not fabricate reviews, misrepresent imported reviews as verified purchases, upload unlawful content, interfere with the service or use it to send spam. Moderate consistently and do not present a misleading picture of customer feedback.

Plans and billing

Free includes 100 orders with review invitations per 30 days and 1 GB of total media storage. Growth costs $14 USD per store per 30 days and includes 1,000 invited orders and 5 GB of storage. Pro costs $49 and includes 5,000 invited orders, 10 GB of storage and the team workflow listed on the product page. Applicable taxes are separate.

Shopify manages subscription approval and billing. Trial eligibility, trial end, subscription changes and charges are shown in Shopify’s approval flow. Growth and Pro offer a 14-day trial where shown. Services you connect with your own account, such as Klaviyo, your own Resend sending account or OpenAI for optional AI assistance, are billed by those providers under their own terms. These costs are separate from your Rootmade plan.

Each order counts once when its invitation cycle starts, across products and split shipments. Orders invited through Klaviyo also count. Each order permits an initial invitation, one reminder or manual resend, and one thank-you email. Internal merchant notifications do not. Storage does not reset monthly. There are no automatic overage charges: new invitations wait until the next period or an upgrade when the order allowance is full; follow-ups for already counted orders continue within their sending cycle, and new media uploads are blocked when storage is full.

Changing or ending your plan

Use the Plan page to open Shopify’s plan management. Uninstalling the app ends its store connection immediately; Shopify’s billing rules determine applicable charges. About 48 hours after uninstalling, Shopify asks Rootmade to erase the store’s data, and Rootmade then deletes the store’s reviews, questions, customer and order records, imports, exports and connected-service settings. Reinstalling after that starts empty. Export any review data you want to keep before uninstalling. Paid functionality stops when the required active Growth or Pro entitlement is not confirmed. Existing settings can be retained for a later upgrade, subject to data retention and deletion.

Connected services

Default delivery includes the sending service. An own sender requires domain and sending verification plus a working mailbox for replies. With Klaviyo, you manage and activate the sending flows. AI assistance is optional, off by default and uses your own OpenAI account. An accepted event is not confirmation of email delivery. Rootmade cannot guarantee mailbox placement, third-party uptime, search-engine review stars or a particular commercial outcome.

Data and support

The privacy notice describes data handling. Contact support@rootmade.app for support or account questions. Include enough information to reproduce an issue, but do not email passwords or private customer data.

Operation and changes

Maintenance and third-party interruptions can affect availability. We may update features and operational limits; material changes to subscriptions must be communicated and handled through the applicable Shopify flow. We may restrict misuse of the service and will take account of applicable law and the circumstances.

Mandatory rights
