Default delivery, own sender and Klaviyo
Choose the sending method first, then configure the messages in the right place.
Work through the path
- Open Settings → Integrations and select Default to let Rootmade send review emails. No separate provider account is required.
- For an own address, enter a sender name and a working mailbox on a domain you control.
- Add the ownership TXT record shown in the app, click Verify, then add the sending records. Activate the sender only after all verification succeeds.
- Edit Rootmade Email templates for Default delivery. Replies should reach the mailbox you entered.
- On Growth or Pro, select Klaviyo to send events to your account. Create and activate the invitation flows in Klaviyo and edit the messages there. Rootmade templates do not control Klaviyo emails.
DNS can take time to update. Until an own sender is verified and activated, Default remains the active sender. An accepted Klaviyo event does not prove that an email was delivered.
Keep the result understandable
Use a representative product or workflow first, check the storefront experience on mobile and keep a record of any mapping or provider decision that another teammate may need to repeat.
